I say it often – one of the best parts about homeschooling is redeeming my own education, especially when it comes to World History. Nothing is new under the sun and studying all of history really helps you grasp that. Additionally much of what is considered standard in our society today, began
in these ancient times (government, our calendar, plumbing etc.)
In our homeschool we use a textbook-free approach to learning history.
Three of the most important times in ancient history are Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome.
